Aligning Outcomes, Assessments, and Activities
This week has been a journey of envisioning ambitious goals and designing impactful courses within our educational landscape. It was an opportunity to meticulously align expected outcomes, assessments, and activities in a blended learning environment that fosters innovation and creativity.

Contemplating this course design led me on a thoughtful exploration. I considered the project's authenticity and the diverse backgrounds of my students. It dawned on me—an intriguing project: having students create elf traps for their ePortfolios. This engaging task merges creativity, problem-solving, and digital skills, offering a delightful blend of real-world application and imaginative exploration.

As I sought to intertwine my students' inventive spirit with digital portfolio creation, these reflections laid the foundation for my BHAG and the learning outcomes envisioned for this course.

Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal (BHAG):
Students will create elf traps for their ePortfolios, engaging in design, construction, and digital documentation. They'll brainstorm, build, and showcase their inventive traps, fostering problem-solving skills and creative expression. They'll articulate their design journey through digital portfolios, highlighting their innovative thinking and construction process.
